| 2007 St. James Albariño |
 |
| (all-ba-ree-NYO) This crisp, dry white wine with subtle aromas of pears and white peaches has always been a favorite to many at New Clairvaux. Often compared to a Pinot Gris because of its citrus flavor, Albarino is a very refreshing wine to drink. To capture its youthful fruitiness, it was bottled within the same year and released soon after. This medium-to-light-bodied wine pairs well with any seafood or creamy pasta dishes. |

SILVER MEDAL WINNER
(all-ba-ree-NYO) One of
the most appealing attributes of the 2005 Albarino is its
simplistic nature as a wonderful dry white wine. It is
made from 100% estate grown Albarino grapes, fermented
in stainless steel, and aged for several months. To capture
its youthful fruitiness, it was bottled within the same
year and released soon after. This medium-to-light-bodied
wine has delicate aromas of pear and white peach, but its
citrus taste is complemented with flavors of ripe apricot
and green apple. This wine pairs well with light pasta
dishes, seafood or chicken. |

| 2007 Poor Souls Trebbiano |
 |
| (Tre-bee-an-NYO) Trebbiano is the most planted white grape grown in Italy today. This wonderfully simple wine is barrel fermented in new French oak barrels each vintage. It has a soft aroma of new oak and a complimentary taste of light fruit and hints of citrus. This light bodied wine would be great combined with a spicy or smoke flavored appetizer. |

| 2006 Poor Souls Trebbiano |
 |
| (Tre-bee-an-NYO) Trebbiano
is the primary grape grown to make brandy; however, ours
has been made into a soft white wine with 11.9% alcohol.
The 2006 Trebbiano was harvested from the estate’s sister
vineyard Poor Souls, barrel-fermented, and aged six months
in stainless steel. It features a light oak aroma, with
delicate flavors of fresh white peach and soft vanilla.
This wine is a graceful complement to seafood dishes. |

| 2007 St. James Viognier |
 |
| (vee-oh-NYAY) Viognier is very fragrant and inviting. It is a dry white wine, but its powerful fruity peach and apricot aromas deceive many into thinking it may taste a little sweet. The flavor, however, is more citric with clean grapefruit flavors. This is a great medium-bodied white wine to enjoy with creamy chicken dishes, such as cordon bleu, divan, or crepes. |

| 2004 St. James Albariño |
 |
| (all-ba-ree-NYO) We sold
out of this Albariño on the winery’s opening, August 6,
2005. We knew this variety from our Vina vineyards would
make a terrific wine, because our test wine lots of Albariño
in 2002 and 2003 were exceptional. In fact, we planted
over a half acre more of Albariño in 2003. This wine has
a crisp taste with delicate flavors of ripe apricot and
green apples. It was barrel fermented, so it has a hint
of oak, which compliments well for being a dry white wine. |
