| 2007 St. James New Zinfandel |
 |
| (new ZIN-fan-dell) The 2007 New Zinfandel started as an experiment in an attempt to make a Nouveau Beaujolais style of wine. Our experiment began with a whole berry crush of Zinfandel grapes. After about three days of fermentation, the must was pressed and the juice finished fermenting in stainless steel. The wine was bottled soon afterward to capture its bursting strawberry fruit flavor. This beautiful ruby red rosé goes well with tomato dishes, and also makes a great picnic wine. |
