| 2005 Poor Souls Petite Sirah |
| Production: 400 Cases |
$32.00 Per Bottle |
 |
| (Peh-TEET Sear-RAH) This Petite Sirah is one of our best vintages yet! It has a beautiful aroma of fruit and new oak, layers of plum and currant flavors, and a long lingering finish. The tannins in this wine will help it age for many years (for those who are patient), yet it’s delicious now. A thick juicy steak and potatoes would be a perfect match for this wine at dinner. |

 |
| (Pe-teet Sear-RAH) Petite
Sirah is not a miniature Syrah as one would think; but,
rather it has its own unique characteristics. It has a
dark purple color, good acidity and lots of tannins. These
traits make it a wonderful wine to age; if you are patient
enough. With lots of black cherry flavors, rose and oaky
aromas, this wine would be great for a variety of foods
such as pastas, steak and even dark chocolate. |

| 2004 St. James Syrah |
| Production: 400 Cases |
$30.00 Per Bottle |
 |
| (Sear-RAH) One of the great
things about this black beauty is its complex balance of
fruit, oak, tannins and acidity. It has everything a wine
should have without any single character dominating the
show. It has many earthy aromas and flavors, similar to
a Cabernet Sauvignon. Its tannins are soft, but its acidity
will hold it for good aging. This wine would be wonderful
with rich meat dishes such as lamb or steak. |
